We enjoyed our week at Lazy Day's Campground. The campsite was clean and well maintained, yet primitive. Our only issue was that there is no grill grates on the campfire rings. Great experience overall, we do plan on returning.
The owner of the campground is very nice! We lost power in our camper and he was nice enough to make sure everything was getting electricity from the plug in to the breakers inside our camper. He even let us borrow his battery charger to charge our battery.
I stayed in one of the cabins here for vacation with my family, and it was amazing! The cabin was beautiful and the staff at the campground were so helpful! Craig, the owner, and his wife even went so far as to drive my mother and I back to our cabin.
We had so much fun staying at Lazy Days! The location is perfect for rafting the river, as well as seeing other things like the caverns. The cabin we stayed in fit all of us comfortably and the hot tub was a nice bonus after a long float on the river.
Great place. Great river. Very reasonable and very accommodating to our needs. Come see the bald eagle nesting or the beautiful scenery of the river
